The production of high quality plastic pieceparts from low cost tooling is now a reality following a major breakthrough in polyurethane resin technology. Advanced resin formulations, exclusive to Schneider Prototyping (UK) Limited, produce durable fully pigmented pieceparts with excellent surface definition and impressive mechanical properties.
Schneider Prototoyping offer a low, one-off, tooling charge for batch
production volumes of 50 up to 200 off. Schneider's unique Thin-Rim®
processing system ensures good accuracy and detail in both thin and
thick walled parts. Our Thin-Rim® resins are widely used for production
caseworks for electronic and medical equipment. Our rigid resins mimic
ABS in their mechanical properties and are available in high temperature,
UV stable and V0 flame retardant grades. Our elastomeric resins are
available in Shore hardness ratings from 10 to 95A and are ideal for
keymats, overmoulds and seals. The majority of these materials can be
pigmented and our process engineers are able to colour match to most
RAL or Pantone colours or supplied samples.
Low cost moulds are produced from accurate machined patterns to provide
a rapid, inexpensive solution for initial production series or on-going
low volume production.
Low Volume Production Parts will enable you to get your product to the market quickly and without expensive production tooling charges. Besides very often the annual production volume doesn't justify expensive production costs. Low Volume Production Parts from Schneider Prototyping will allow you to produce high quality parts fast and cost-efficient. The modifications are easily done and won't cost you a fortune. Which makes low volume production unbeatable for new projects.
Our years of experience in the prototyping industry have supplied us with the know-how, the ability, and the flexibility to quickly and accurately produce qualitatively excellent prototypes and small series. We use high quality SLA models or CNC machined patterns as masters for silicone tooling.
These can have nearly any size and can be produced both in metal and in plastic. During production we only use tried and tested procedures and materials. Please contact us for more information
